Milngavie Tennis Club is situated on the east side of Milngavie on Auchenhowie Road(see map) and is a section of Milngavie and Bearsden Sports Club.The other sports played are - Hockey(Gents & ladies), Squash, Archery(Clyde Arrows) , Junior Shinty and Junior Football(Baljaffray under 11)
The Tennis section boasts six artificial grass courts the surface of which was the first of its kind to be laid in Scotland.Three of the courts are floodlit and are used for social tennis and coaching throughout the winter evenings.
The tennis section is affiliated to the West of Scotland Tennis Association and has four Gents teams and four Ladies teams which play in the West of Scotland leagues as do the three gents veterans teams and the three ladies veterans teams.There is a large Junior section in the club and junior teams in each age group which also play league matches.
As well as competetive matches organised official social tennis is played on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons and social tennis is played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

The tennis section has access to changing rooms with showers and to a comfortable lounge bar which is run by a full-time Bar Manager.
